Let this be a lesson that once again. A tremendous number of people actually don’t like pop or have a fairly limited range of what pop they actually like. An artist making pop music outside of those bounds doesn’t make that pop bad, it’s just not For You

(Also realistically, they've said every album she made is her worst album since Reputation and then everyone circles back to be like "actually it wasn't" so I am not trusting a single soul's take on this album until 2030. But I'm enjoying it a lot, it feels made in a lab for me)

I'm having sooo much fun honestly it's like a rent-lowering gunshots album to me. She's so good at writing Stupid Pop, but we haven't gotten any in so long that I think people have forgotten about like... Blank Space. Gorgeous. Etc. It's irreverent pop and there's still fun homages & analysis to do!

It appears that there is an increasingly high chance Israel will be banned next week from UEFA due to its genocide in Gaza, which would in turn effectively end its hopes of qualifying for the World Cup.

I have heard this independently confirmed from another source.
