The first step toward fixing this is to overturn the Citizens United ruling, limiting contributions, eliminating super pacs, and much more. Much damage has already been done, but it is not entirely irreversible.
This is how our government has been corrupted:
1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office
2) Elected officials rewrite rules in the donors' favor
3) Donors make huge profit
4) Repeat
We must get big money out of politics.
It is the root of our dysfunction.

Trump’s brain-dead proposal for peace in Ukraine: SURRENDER TO RUSSIA. Trump is the weakest leader this nation has had since Herbert Hoover. He’s a real pansy. And, of course, he is mentally defective. That is a horrible combination.

Our “president” now calls Congress members who remind our military brothers and sisters of their Constitutional duty to disobey illegal orders “traitors”.
Reminding people in the military and law enforcement of their oath and duty to the Constitution is only a bad thing to someone who wants to rip up the Constitution.
