Once again thinking about how much of a perfect album 2.0 by Big Data is. Even the weakest tracks on it are still GOOD, they're just eclipsed the all the standouts.

That said *laughs awkwardly about Get Some Freedom and just how algorithmic everything has become* : )

And please, don't tell me how sad you are for me about my lack of a relationship with my dad. I've had people tell me that shit before and honestly it just pisses me off. His transphobia wasn't ruining an otherwise peachy relationship. He was never that accepting of *anything* about me.

I was scared out of my fucking mind when I came out, and I froze up a lot when I was having that conversation. Rather than trying to make me feel safe or accepted my dad made it feel like an interrogation.

I didn't really get to start fully *being me* until after I moved out on my own.

I love how the anti trans people are so far up their own ass that they don't realize that maybe trans people also experience transphobia from the people around them when they come out.

I basically don't talk to my dad anymore because he continues to deadname and misgender me.

One of the most perverse ideas on the anti-trans side is that trans people are instantly affirmed and celebrated by everyone when they come out and that acceptance is driving a social contagion.

It's the ultimate form of gaslighting against our community.
