In 1993, Trump signed a mortgage for a Florida home, pledging it would be his principal residence. Seven weeks later, he attested a neighboring property would also be his principal residence.

In reality, he does not seem to have lived in either home.
Trump’s Own Mortgages Match His Description of Mortgage Fraud, Records Reveal
The Trump administration has argued that Fed board member Lisa Cook may have committed mortgage fraud by declaring more than one primary residence on her loans. We found Trump once did the very thing ...

I'm searching Getty Images and found some photos credited to the Boston Herald that redact the faces of ICE/federal agents. They don't redact the face of the guy they're arresting.

I'm curious about the ethics of doing this. I don't think I've ever seen this on Getty before.

What would it be like to have free press, like this! instead we have corporate owned/corp-bootlicking Legacy media.
I wrote about NYT, CNN, and ABC’s casual acceptance that US dictates and Trump’s arbitrary use of American violence against Venezuela is somehow a form of “international” law. It’s not, and US media should stop implying and/or outright lying that it is.
US Media Rushes to Manufacture Legal Legitimacy for Trump’s Venezuela Oil Tanker Piracy
Venezuela oil exports are not “black market” and US sanctions are not “international sanctions.” Why does our media keep saying otherwise?

If this were a war, these strikes would be war crimes. But it's not a war, so it's murder.

Pretty simple framing, really.
Van Hollen: "It's either murder from the first strike if their whole theory is wrong, and I think the weight of the legal opinion is they've concocted this ridiculous legal theory. But even if you accept it, then it is a war crime. I do believe the secretary of defense should be held accountable"

A few years ago, I explained in this short video how the cash bail system works. It makes everyone in our society less safe--it's sort of the equivalent of a modern "flat-earther" policy. www.youtube.com/watch?v=EO5J...

Finland ended homelessness with a housing first strategy that gave people apartments before they secured employment

Now they’re proposing a 4 day work week and 6 hour work days

True work life balance

Meanwhile in the US, people work two jobs and can’t afford food or healthcare.

This reminds me of the stages of grief for some reason, only this one might be more accurate, starting at the right.
#TheVictorianBookoftheDead #NationalLetterWritingDay
Specimens of border widths for mourning stationery, 1902. Although etiquette books often criticized wide borders on writing paper and visiting cards as vulgar, the width was thought to show depth of grief, gradually shading to narrow with time.

This #datacenter is TWICE the size of the world's largest! Utah is one of the driest states, and already has a data center in Southern Utah.

There are TWO planned, I don't know if that size is the combined amount, but what irresponsible use of land.

Truly bleak stuff. This should not be allowed. Where are our regulators at the CPUC?
