This is wildly beside the point but I'm constantly impressed with the way folks in power manage to come across as almost completely illiterate when they write emails

I still remember learning to drive & being told by my parents, 20+ years ago, that I need to always keep in mind I'm operating a 2000lb weapon, & it hasn't been lost on me how rare a concept that is in the US.
