How does the one on the left show the speed? I'm intrigued.

This needs to be in every oncologist's office.

the diagram on the left is nearly impossible to understand, but I like yours on the right. Tell me, how did you decide on the colour coding for your display? Red typically indicates danger, but what sort of danger is indicated by red-level KE? Thank heavens for the Wayback Machine!

That's one hella trippy Rorschach test

Thanks! I grew up in Dunedin, and I do recognise the general 😍 beach aesthetic of that area. Of course you'd be out of your mind to swim there without some quick way to restore body heat.
Measly? Settlers feeling a bit ungrateful that day, it seems. I'm sure the Māori name is much more poetic.

Looking at the Tino Rangatiratanga flag flying at mahi next to the NZ flag and thinking hell yes.

Without Te Tiriti, the NZ flag would not be a thing. Aotearoa New Zealand exists because of Te Tiriti. Colonisers would have starved without Māori help. #ToitūTeTiriti

Love it! Especially that ole' Rabbie is in on the action. pure dead brilliant.
Toitū te Tiriti indeed!

I agree totally about the problematic of finding that balance. Victor's story is moving, an outrage, and a disgrace. That he was ordered shot by his fellow NZ soldiers is an awful detail in this deep injustice, which demands to be righted.

Agreed. That sort of 'New Zealander' barely ever thinks about their ethnicity. Because they don't have to. Nearly everything's made with them in mind.

I knew it! too beautiful. Which beach, though? So expansive and inviting.

"Socially, I bump into them at the rugby. I go to dinner with them, maybe a movie. We snuggle on the couch.
"I don't think there's much I can do, quite frankly, to overcome the perception that there is a cosy relationship between myself and both the fishing industry and the mining industry."
If I were Shane Jones and I didn't want people accusing me of having a cosy* relationship with the mining and fisheries industries I would simply not go and see them in their offices or invite them to mine.

Yes, it's disgusting. And yet, when first Europeans arrived, the term "New Zealanders" unambiguously meant "Māori".

That is troubling indeed, as are the pictures of the plane once at rest. I don't see a nose wheel, and the plane appears to be resting on its engines. Am I seeing things?

They'd vote for him even if his head became gangrenous and fell right off. Not that I'm body shaming. That could happen to anyone. Besides, what does a baby know about real estate and tax dodges? A baby is clearly of no value compared to a great US president, probably even the greatest ever. /s
