'Populist' is used as a term of abuse, but I'm not sure it should be given these definitions. What if the concerns of ordinary people are being disregarded by established elites? Maybe we need populism, but a populism that correctly identifies who's *really* screwing 'ordinary people'.

Polanski Poppy-gate is more of the same old Remembrance Day bollox they used against Corbyn - designed to smear/distract attention away from popular policies the journalist's oligarch paymaster hate. The aim is to create wall-to-wall noise so nothing Polanski says cuts through.
