The petroleum oligarchy, ever eager to make a buck at the expense of the rest of humanity, is going after Venezuela's massive petroleum reserves. The caveat list for this oil sounds like a disclaimer for "Broken Glass Play toys." It is expensive to refine and demand is shrinking. Oh well...

Egyptian papyri from c. 1500 BCE describe using the eels for pain, inflammation & paralysis, but they used words connected with numbness for the eels. The Ancient Greek word 'ἤλεκτρον' (i.e. elektron) was used to describe static electricity properties of amber, but used different word for the eels.
