It ain’t the six minutes. It’s what happens in those six minutes.

Where did you get that preposterous hypothesis? Did Steve tell you that, perchance? Steve…

Husband & Dad. Works in DC. Knows some stuff about college.

This will remain my head gear as motivation and inspiration for the next four years.

It’s driving me a little insane to see all this “protester” lingo.
Like yea there are protests..

But if masked, armed thugs invade your neighborhood and terrorize your community, standing against that is not “protesting”.

That’s an attempt to maintain safety. The government made itself the danger.

THIS 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
Half measures are going to kill American democracy. Consequences will be the only way out. ICE as a whole needs to be pulled up by the roots. Let there be no question about the “why”. “Because when we abolished ice, they were a masked secret gestapo killing innocent Americans, you can’t reform that”
Majority of the country now wants to abolish and/or dismantle ICE and yet Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. told the caucus the message had to be to “restrain, reform and restrict ICE.”

Once again it looks like Schumer is about to choke after getting a massive opportunity.

So pathetic and weak.

I know Boozer is leading NPOY race, and Peterson is a walking bucket, but give me Dybantsa. Total package who only cares about winning. Just the most complete player I have seen in a long time. I love watching him play.

I want to go back to Marimar Martinez' request to lift protective order in her case. She was shot by CBP in October. As w/Good & Pretti, they lied to cover up shooting.

As a threshold issue, Bovino was just 1-degree of separation from all 3 shootings.

We have reached the point where any statement made by a Trump administration official must be assumed to be a lie until proven otherwise.

"Make them shoot you in public before they murder you in private"

Grandma Miriam, Holocaust survivor.👇
My grandmother’s family was murdered in the chambers of Auschwitz. She survived and told me never let it get that far. Make them shoot you in public before they murder you in hiding. Stand up for others. Never cave in fear of the Nazis or the holocaust will happen again.

The reality is that 2024 was a fundamental test of the moral character of the nation and we failed spectacularly. We’re living with the consequences now. Maybe we improve. I hope so.

It's more than a little cool that Delroy Lindo got his first Oscar nomination today.

He's been an excellent actor for decades.

They believe the law doesn’t apply to them and that accountability will never come.

Whether they’re right won’t be decided by the Constitution or the courts.

It will be decided by the resolve and action of the American people over the next twelve months.

When the noise gets loud,
I trust the songs that tend to recognize fear when it puts on a uniform.

🎵 Inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler) — Marvin Gaye

🎵 A Change Is Gonna Come — Sam Cooke

🎵 Baltimore — Nina Simone

History remembers patterns.
Music remembers people.

We’ll keep listening.

Im my ALL IN THE FAMILY rewatch, and it’s nuts how much this show remains relevant. Archie Bunker operates on fear. It’s his default setting. Fear that he’s not important, that he won’t get what he wants, that other people are having a better life than him. Carroll O’Connor was a brilliant actor.

“Can’t believe NYC elected a Muslim as mayor.”

In truth—a Black American Christian woman swearing in a Ugandan American Muslim of South Asian ethnicity as his Syrian American wife holds the Qurans he swears in on, all while standing on the steps of a subway station—is the most NYC thing imaginable.
