I would totally play my #LEGO Game Boy if it took batteries instead of bricks.
I thoroughly enjoyed tonight’s Giants game.

But they’re even talking to proud parents on this TNF postgame show.

Crazy that they moved the Super Bowl to a Thursday night in October this year!
100%. The book was surprisingly good. But Heat can’t be replicated.

(And I will still see Heat 2 on day one…)
WB took a hit on ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER do it’s not a surprise they couldn’t go all in on Michael Mann’s HEAT 2, and Amazon can throw money at that anyway. I thought the book was really good.

But it ain’t HEAT, and people expecting HEAT better readjust. I like HEAT 2 but it’s not HEAT.
How dare you?

I had a childhood friend who did an amazing Howard Finkel impression. He must've announced everyone in recess as "... and NEWWWWWW World Wrestling Federation champion..." Sadly, there was no recess title belt.

Andor started 3 years ago today 😍

I realize how lucky I was to get a Star Wars story that touched my heart decades after falling in love with SW.
I like the addition of literal fire to Edwin Diaz’s entrance at Citi Field. #LGM
Eight Men Out was a Jeopardy clue this week and my wife was surprised to hear me say it was my favorite baseball movie.

It’s wonderful.

NFL opening weekend is like your birthday… even when it’s not on your birthday. Though today, it is.
Today I saw Bruce Springsteen & the E Street and talk about the 50th anniversary of Born To Run… and then crush Thunder Road and Born To Run.

Today was an amazing day! #Springsteen #BornToRun
Some fans will be disappointed in their team’s performance tonight.

Or their fantasy player’s point total.

Or their parlay’s outcome.

Me? I’m devastated to discover we will be subjected to another season of NBC’s ubiquitous “Here Comes Saturday Night” B1G football commercial.

I haven't seen this many people talking about an electric Nebraska since Tommie Frazier

folks ,,,
This is crazy good!
Listen to the previously-unreleased version of "Born in the U.S.A." from the "Electric Nebraska" sessions, now available to stream: brucespringsteen.lnk.to/BITUSAElectr...

"It was kinda like punk rockabilly. We were trying to bring 'Nebraska' into the electric world."

2024 gave us Bruce on the beach in Asbury.

2025 gave us Tracks II and now Electric Nebraska.

And we haven’t even made it to this weekend’s Born To Run celebration.

What a run for Springsteen fans!
"I’ve written a lot of other narrative records, but there's just something about that batch of songs on 'Nebraska' that holds some sort of magic." –Bruce Springsteen

Quests are fun and I’m sure Kim and I will find something new to conquer.

And I hope we find the same joy in whatever we do next that we found over nearly two decades in 30 MLB ballparks.

— 30 —

Hell, six of the ballparks we visited aren’t in use anymore.

And, of course, the biggest change: What started in the infancy of dating was completed more than a decade into marriage.

9/10
So much has changed since we started this journey.

Different jobs. Different interests. Different technologies.

I didn’t bring a camera to our first game in 2006. I took 25 high-res photos on my phone on Monday.

8/10
We saw fantastic ballparks, of course — Pittsburgh, San Francisco and San Diego were our favorites — but we made the most of the lesser ones as well, sampling distinct food offerings, enjoying local beers or even playing carnival games in the concourse in Tampa.

7/10
We saw parts of North America that we might not have otherwise experienced, from the Gateway Arch to Alcatraz to a midwestern state fair in Minnesota.

We paired new ballparks with trips to San Diego Comic-Con, a college graduation and not one, but two WrestleManias.

6/10
We’re grateful for friends and family that helped this become a reality.

They joined us at games. (Rebecca was at the first. Colleen, Justin & Maddox were at the last. Mat was at the most. To name a few.)

They provided beds to crash in during various trips.

They watched our unamused cat.

5/10
Thanks to the Tigers and their awesome mascot Paws for celebrating with us.

Their ballpark is excellent and Paws’ congratulatory autographed baseball is amazing.

The cheerful tiger is the 26th mascot Kim was photographed with during our quest, including all five Racing Sausages.

On Monday — 19 years, 3 months and 14 days after that first game at Shea — we completed that relationship-long journey in Detroit.

Comerica Park was our 30th MLB team’s home ballpark.

(And the Mets won the first and last games of this concluded mission.)

3/10
It was about 3 weeks into our relationship when Kim and I went to our first baseball game on May 19, 2006. The Mets walked off the Yankees and Mariano Rivera that night.

We took our first ballpark road trip the following summer and a plan was hatched: We would visit every MLB ballpark.
