Donald Trump promised to lower prices on Day One — but a year later, all he's done is jack up electricity bills and slash thousands of good jobs.
Warren, Markey say Trump’s policies cost state $8.6 billion in clean energy funding and more than 16,000 jobs - The Boston Globe
A report from Senator Elizabeth Warren’s and Senator Ed Markey’s offices, released Tuesday, shows the state ranks second in lost or delayed clean energy jobs and first in lost or delayed investments.

Though the Department of Justice has only divulged 1 percent of the trove of Epstein files documents in their possession, “inevitable glitches” and the need to make extensive redactions means there’s no timeline for a full release
Epstein Files Release Delayed By Redactions, Department of Justice Says
One month after the mandated deadline to publish the Justice Department's files on the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, less than 1 percent of the documents have been released.

I can't believe masked, untrained, heavily armed, lawless paramilitary, who beat, choke, kill and "disappear" citizens, legal residents, and those w/o legal status - w/o a warrant, are tolerated in the US. I never thought I would see the day. Write your Rep and your Senators: Defund ICE now.

We were at an anti-ICE protest in ruby red Ottawa County on Saturday. 75+ strong in our small town. RIP Renee Good.

A U.S. citizen legally observed ICE activity from a distance. He didn’t interfere, block agents, or make contact. An ICE agent still threatened lethal force and referenced a recent killing. That’s retaliation for protected speech—and it’s illegal. Caught on video. #sheshed

Bit of a parable here.
The federal government Friday agreed to pay $125,000 after a judge found a U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent liable for civil assault for pointing a gun at a hotel maintenance man who came to the agent’s room to unclog a toilet.
Feds pay $125K after Border Patrol agent pointed gun at Portland hotel worker
The payout amount was finalized during a settlement conference Friday after a judge found the officer civilly liable for assault.

US policy on protests in Iran somewhat different from policy on protests in US: “On Friday, the US repeated that killing protesters would be met with a military response.”

We need to get it lodged more firmly in the discourse that Trump and Stephen Miller are prioritizing removing nonviolent immigrants over public safety. They are sinking so many resources into their ethnic purification project that they're putting us in more danger.

A US citizen was shot and killed by ICE in Minneapolis today. There's no sugarcoating this; the President's security theater just cost someone their life.

The same people who spent yesterday, and the past five years, insisting a Black police officer who shot an insurrectionist breaking into the Capitol should be prosecuted are today bending over backwards to defend an ICE agent who shot a woman in her car in cold blood.

Scum.

Props to Nicole Wallace for extensive coverage of Jack Smith's House deposition on the 5th anniversary of J6 to remind us of Trump's culpability for the insurrection. Most MSM spent 24/7 on Venezuela. A massive, illegal distraction from J6 and the Epstein disclosure report statutorily due Jan 3.

So Capitol Police officers were assaulted and injured on Jan 6th, the White House today is blaming them for the violence, and the people who attacked them have been pardoned and are back to mock and abuse them on the 5th anniversary.

And the GOP is the party of the police? Really? REALLY??

Barbara McQuade in the repost below hits the bullseye. Trump pardoned the former President of Honduras, convicted of shipping tons of drugs into the US. Now arrests the President of Venezuela as a drug gang leader. At the deadline for release of all the Epstein files. Hypocrisy? Coincidence ?

It’s hard to believe a president would time an illegal military attack to distract the public’s attention, but today is the statutory deadline for DOJ to release its report on the Epstein file production. Maybe it is just a coincidence.

How many military strikes does the MAGA Führer plan for 2026?

There has been no debate in the Congress — let alone across the nation — about war in Venezuela.

There is no congressional authorization and very dubious legal authority for these strikes.
