As I keep saying, there are ways to go about it and keep Magneto's origin; Omega level means he ages slowly, do what X-Men Evolution did and have him use a machine that restores his youth, time travel, it's easy.
I never understood the "we need to update Magneto's origin because he's too old" when you have characters like Apocalypse, Mystique, Wolverine, Mr Sinister and many other that had live for centuries at their peak physique, but it's too hard to believe with the holocaust survivor?
