A review for Eureka: Investigative Urban Fantasy. Some people seem to balk when they hear an investigation-focused game has combat. I think a lot of it has to do with D&D5e making players think combat has to be a slog. Eureka’s combat rules complement investigation by rewarding caution and planning.

I love Eureka! It's got the best combat ever, and is really well designed for complex mysteries that feel like actual investigations instead of investigation themed adventures. The traits are great for fleshing out characters, and Narrating for it is super easy
