The dumbest Rechenmaschine you ever knew

Still proud of my dumb little GIF project tbh. No AI needed, human stupidity is enough to turn a 1MB GIF into taking up 13MB or more when it is loaded.
At some point I will need to learn some frameworks and whatnot, but it is good to know what I can do already without any of that stuff.
Awesome GIF Stuff

Looking at the Board of Peace thingy and all the prior stuff, it feels like America's "Checks and Balances" turned out to mean people cutting checks for the president to give him good account balances.

It will never cease to amaze me just how shit creative cloud desktop and the rest as software is. The startup where it just does whatever for solid 20 seconds, the extremly resource intensive updates, the language problem where you can't switch languages without reinstalling, and more. I

Videos are rendering and I have ~30 minutes until my next meeting so I guess I could give my opinion on all season 1 hazbin hotel songs.

This milk goes into the square hole, hence the name "hole milk"
This leads me to believe that up until this meeting, Trump absolutely thought it was "hole milk."
Trump: "It's actually a legal definition -- 'whole milk.' And it's whole with a W for those of you that have a problem."

You, an intelectual foreign policy wonk: The EU would do little to nothing if the USA attack Greenland
Me, donning my new titanium grillz: I am personally going to gnaw through every cable going in and out of Ramstein if Greenland is attacked.

There is no way to do this without it becoming a privacy and security nightmare, not just for the wearer but for everyone around them, and the companies just don't care.

Help I can't get some of the songs out of my head. Listening to them again has not helped with that at all. I got to be honest, the first season of Hazbin did not grip me thaaat much at first, and I think "Poison" and subsequently "Loser" were the first songs that got me (because they are bangers).
After getting around to watching it over the last week, I have thoughts on Hazbin Hotel. But first I gotta re-hear Gravity like 100 more times before I can articulate them.

Maybe adding tomato paste was the secret to a good soup all along. And of course an ungodly amount of onions along with carrots, bell pepper, celery, and salt and pepper. I should make soup more often; getting soup pilled so to speak, all goated up in that soup until my unc days come.

I think reading some pro-AI skeets has further radicalised me against it. Notably the argument wrt to how good a model is at something. "If you do not like genAI because it can't draw hands, just wait as the models will get better. Better you learn how to prompt" absolute clown stuff.

The increasingly common habit of screenshotting the AI summary of a Google search and presenting it as evidence must be nipped in the bud immediately. That is nothing. That is not anything, it is not a thing.

I was at the bone temple and nobody there knew who any of you freaks are.
“I like the bone temple” yeah buddy, we all like the bone temple, you don’t have to tell everybody about it
I love that we’re starting to get an influx of zero-context posts that say “I liked the bone temple” “the bone temple is good” etc

If you used ChatGPT and thought nobody else would ever see those chats: congratulations. OpenAI can get fucked here too. If these logs are such a privacy risk you should strive not to have them accesible for yourself in the first place.

Given the propensity of political figures to write books after their main time is over, you know there is going to be a wave of tea spilled the moment he kicks the bucket. And there will be tons and tons of articles questioning why the book writers did nothing while it was happening.
KO'ing everyone's 401k the week they started bragging about murdering citizens in the street on camera is the behavior of people who are on actual drugs. Not metaphorically, it's the behavior of people with underlying mental illness on uppers and steroids who are starting to feel cornered.

Well I did get sidetracked with other things but a rough draft exists (a basic plot mindmap and a 3 page text draft) and I did some playing around in godot. Probably gonna sink my spare time over the week into this.
I think this might be my "keep me sane" project for the weekend, and a reason to finally use godot for something.
Idea: A horror game where the lower your mind gets, the more of your screen gets filled with social media posts.
At 100 you see nothing, at 70 you start seeing the outlines of posts from your follow feed, and at 0 your screen is filled with the discover feed scrolling endlessly.

I want to believe that nothing ever happens wrt Greenland. The thing is, that for it all to get here, a lot of things already happened.
January 11, 2026 at 6:57 AM
Maybe the AI bubble doesn't pop but instead gets obliterated along with all other economic activity if the Greenland thing goes bad. Evicting Military bases would fill an almost sadistic part in my soul that existed ever since "We kill people based on metadata." was acknowledged by Brandon Bryant.

My stance on opinion and commentary pieces in newspapers is: They should only be from people working as employees at the newspaper, everyone else gets at most a link to their own medium/substack/ghost/whatever blog. Want to hear the opinion of a politician on an issue? Read their press statements.
