They count on people not being able to navigate all the yarn strings that clearly show the winks and nods to the groups most people have no idea exist.

Comic collecting friends, ever notice a weird pattern in your recent purchases? A subtle grouping or repetition? I just did when I realized how many books over the past week have covers done by Michael Wm. Kaluta. Different titles, different publishers, even different genres. Same artist.
