Hard not to see parallels of attacks on public institutions and the traditional media. Both have limitations but served an essential function. Take Weiss at CBS now. She railed against MSM, created an outlet that absolutely failed to match it's quality, and will now be paid to degrade it.

And that's why electoral politics is harm reduction and not liberation.

I think there's a limiting principle on harm reduction - that is, some even "reduced" harm is still way too much harm (like, for example, genocide).
