When I worked for a health insurance company 40+ years ago, they would make the claims processors DENY first! If they didn’t deny a claim & just paid it they’d get in trouble! One of my worst jobs ever! They were super greedy then-so much worse now! 🤦♀️🤬
Health insurance companies used to be non-profit. Reagan changed that. Why? Greed. Republican greed.
A health insurance co. job is to cover claims. Not deny them. Patients and doctors are now at war with health insurance co. - just so a few stockholders make money.
