Don't forget about all of the stock market manipulations, insider trading and false reporting.

A friend recently told me that they didn’t think ICE would deploy tear gas in well to do neighborhoods with a high density of white people. I understood their thinking, but disagreed. Today, they gassed Lakeview. Nothing is off limits to these people.

There are people in America who are angrier that people have access to SNAP benefits than they are that their tax dollars fund genocide.

You’re just mad because SNAP levels the playing field & you think you deserve food more than poor people not realizing you’re poor too.

Holy entitlement, Batman.

So they didn’t like the ad. Let’s just post Reagan’s 5 min speech against tariffs as it appears on YouTube.

Over and over. On all platforms (some of y’all are still on X).

basically all this shit is Roberts' fault, because the immunity made Trump feel like he could break the law as much as he wants without consequences. bsky.app/profile/jayw...
Here's a fun little nugget from Trump's demand that DOJ pay him, personally, $250 million: In his memo, he argues that prosecutors "should have foreseen" that he has "immunity from prosecution for officials acts." Thank you John Roberts, great rule of law-ing, sir! static01.nyt.com/newsgraphics...

Many people experience deep shame when they are scammed. And this is usually to scammers' benefit.

They know the East Wing demolition is bad optics for them that’s why so many have suddenly “come to life” on this platform today armed w/inaccurate talking points about earlier renovations at the WH.
It's so silly (and British) that everyone goes out professing they had such a great time playing #CelebrityTraitors, and yet they voted out dear Mark for demonstrably having a great time in the castle. Mark just wanted to have fun!
The Faithful would have to be wise enough to ask those questions...and I'm not sure that they would.
I can see that happening.🤦🏾‍♀️
I'm enjoying the cast becauss of who they are but utterly annoyed by the gameplay bc it's less of The Traitors being great and more of The Faithful refusing to challenge certain players (maybe because of who they are).
Who is getting the bonus for every episode Jonathan Ross stays in?!

Literally the only evidence they have on anyone is on Jonathan, but they refuse to vote him out. #TheCelebrityTraitors #CelebrityTraitors

This is the 6th time feds have used chemical weapons against people in Chicago neighborhoods, and 4th since a federal judge issued a TRO against it:
1) Logan Square, 10/3
2) Brighton Park, 10/4
3) Albany Park, 10/12
4) East Side, 10/14
5) Little Village, yesterday
6) Little Village, today
tear gas as residents scream "go home!" and blow whisltes at 10-15 militarized border patrol agents wearing gas masks.

greg bovino is there. people are calling him "bombino" and asking him about his fall.

alder byron sigcho-lopez is also at the front of the crowd, per a facebook live feed.

He’s so “busy.” What is he doing?

Here’s what he’s told us he’s NOT doing.

-reading/watching the news
-negotiating with Dems
-developing a strategy to end the govt closure
- learning the details of the health “plan” he insists Republicans have
-drafting/pushing legislation

What’s left?
RAJU: You said yesterday you were still trying to get the details of this $230m Trump wants from the DOJ. Now that you've had some time, are you ok with taxpayers potentially being on the hook for that kind of money?

MIKE JOHNSON: I'm not trying to dodge. I haven't had time to get the details

I just saw a video that said cutting SNAP would lower food prices because it would cut demand.

I'm starting to think that Econ 101 either needs to be drastically overhauled or that you cannot take it unless you commit to taking four econ courses one heavily focused on externalities and elasticity.

“Cutting SNAP will save money”

We spend more on the Department of War than the next ten countries combined.

Giving cops and the military less money to wage proxy wars will save money you can use to feed people.

Not making sure people have what they need is a policy decision.
