I think his response is mostly accurate but misleading. The real problem is in the increased complications Republicans have added for applying and maintaining coverage that will lead to people losing Medicaid when they still would qualify, as well as increased cost sharing for recipients.

Very true. I wish the left had a long-term strategy like this. Ultimately, though, whoever feels the most entitled seems to win, since they are not bound by consideration of others and are willing to use unethical but effective tactics to get their way.

As an American, I don't get it either. It seems to be sheer political ambition that is keeping Republicans in Congress from holding him accountable, although there is also talk of threats. They may feel their lives or their families will be in danger if they cross him. He's a mob boss. It's sick.
