My boss at a NY investment firm once told me a story about how she worked 80 hour weeks and slept under her desk as if it was a badge of honor. I lasted 15 months at that company before I took a lateral move to a job here in NC. Mental health has been so much better since.

I think the Bentancur-Palhinha pairing has worn out its welcome. Idk what’s going on but Bentancur was pretty invisible tonight. Sarr has to be the preferred choice moving forward - though idk if that’ll happen.

Vic was phenomenal, Gray looked energized when he moved to MF, Odobert was pretty good even if he’s not physical enough. RKM looked pretty decent in his cameo.

Other than that, not much to hang your hat on. Tactics not great, but we simply need a better squad.

I have to say I wouldn’t be a big fan of Drink; kinda think he’s a bit of a dork.

I do think we have to try for someone who’s more proven and that’ll lead to a little less randomness/variance. I assume the floor would be higher under Freeman vs Summrall - but I ultimately could be wrong.

I like Kiffin and think he’ll bring fun football back to Gainesville.

I also think if there is even a chance that you can grab Freeman from ND (I’m skeptical) he should be the first call you make.

After that, if you end up with Fisch it’s not the end of the world.

Been pondering why there seems to be less patience for Frank than we had for Ange.

Theory:

a) Angeball = variable rewards. If you're not familiar with this concept, worth looking up.

b) Angeball was an energy drink sugar rush (complete with crash). Frank more like a healthy living diet.
