At this point I feel like we should just accept that Americans are ok with mass shootings and would like them to continue. All of our actions as a country support this thesis.

We thought the Supreme Court would protect us from Trump's worst abuses. Instead it has facilitated them. The SC has allowed Trump to ignore the Constitution and do whatever he wants with no restraints. They don't even pretend to enforce the rule of law.
