Just explained to my son why we can't fast forward live (over the air) TV. Usually we watch everything recorded so the concept of "live" seems completely unrelatable to him.

Throwback Thursday: The first thing I did when I got a car with a USB port was see if I could connect a floppy drive to it to play music. I could! Granted, I did have to build a custom disk image by hand, since the floppy disk had to be formatted as if it were an SD card and not a floppy.

USB-C PD enables fast charging with fixed & programmable voltage outputs. Using Bus Pirate + AP33772S, I found charger labels don't always match actual PD profiles. This laptop charger lists 5/9/15/20V, but also supports 3.3-21V programmable output—unlabeled. More below..

This baby is MareNostrum 5 in the Barcelona Supercomputing Centre. Ranked 11 on top-500 and it has plenty of blinkenlights to prove it. I got to see it yesterday.
The GPU racks are the ones closest to the camera with the CPU ones (with more leds) further back.
