Ok, so spoiler free thoughts … is this a great film? No. Is it a good film? Meh. Is it a fun wild ride if you can suspend disbelief at some major plot holes? Yes, absolutely.

But it’s not Tron. That’s a problem. The thing in the original and Legacy isn’t in this. It has aspects of Tron, but isn’t.

I'm not sure that having more TV than I can ever watch is enough compensation for watching the dying gasps of democracy and civil society.

If there are historians to look back on the 21st century, I hate to think what the shorthand will be (in the mode of 19C=industrial rev, 15C=Renaissance).

Unfortunately, at this time, Maeving isn't exporting to Downunder. But aren't their bikes just gorgeous?

And that is a completely understandable reaction.

However, FTN made their Streetdog80 model have a top speed of 80kph, which is an understandable thing given the design of their bike, but I have to say that 70mph top speed of the RM1S & RM2 really makes a difference for motorway riding for me.

I've always like the design of the RM1 and RM1S ... particularly with the latter as it has a 70mph top speed (with a range of 80 miles approx, riding dependent).

Now, knowledgeable Kiwi (and maybe Aussie) followers will think on the FTN Streetdog as the obvious comparison here for us downunder.

The RM2 is largely based on the RM1S, but has that larger seat, a smaller gap between seat & handlebars, and a different rake, allowing for a a more upright seating position and more nimble handling.

I love the more almost-scrambler-style design myself.
