As the guy who literally wrote a book on the demise of that first system, *and* as someone who generally supports more unitary authorities, my considered opinion is that this proposal is completely insane

Honestly, the thing I admire about The Rise of Skywalker is that it managed to unite the whole fandom. I mean sure, it achieved that via near universal hatred, but it briefly brought everyone together and I think that's special

So we are paying $46m more for smaller ferries that will be delivered 4-5 years later than IREX, but still have no idea on port-side costs apart from NACT1 continuing the Kiwi-way tradition of do absolutely minimum rather than properly invest in a 100 year asset....

Man, I hate it when people who are almost exclusively conventional ICE motorcycle influencers/reviewers review electric motorcycles, because a) REALLY shows how much they don’t know about the tech, b) the blinkered nature of their knowledge really comes through, & c) they just can’t stop comparing.

The book is honestly amazing. Now, I’m a massive fan of The Martian (both the book and the film) so the book was kinda set up for me. But even given that, I loved it. Possibly even more than The Martian.
