Played a bit of Phantasy Star 4. Gives a chill first impression but immediately throws you into the deep end by the time you have four party members.
What's really obnoxious though is it seems to ignore my menuing sometimes. I'll try to say fight but then I'll run away instead. Really annoying.

I just discovered my retro handheld supports a wide selection of source ports ranging from decade-old freeware to modern commercial indie games.
Now I have to decide which of these I actually want to try on it.

Unreal Tournament 2004 is now available for free.
...well, I mean, you probably could've grabbed a GOG offline installer out the back of a truck earlier, but NOW it's Official/Legally Free and has the in-development community patch packed in for ongoing support. www.oldunreal.com/downloads/ut...

Trying out the GOG version of FFIV's 3D remake and it's about 1:1 with the Steam release. But it does fix the intro video not playing correctly.

One of the strangest helpers in language learning is apps like Telegram recommending emojis for the words I type. It's a surprisingly useful way to know that whatever I'm saying actually means what I'm trying to say. It's probably the most useful emojis have ever been for me.

I know I'm the number one FFV stan but it's gotta mean something that one of the rarest & most expensive pieces of FF merch is a whole-ass trading card line of exclusively FFV things. Someone at Square thought FFV was gonna be the biggest game of the series and dammit it should've been.

Filled the 64GB on this handheld up with 48GB of self-proclaimed essential games. That should hold me over until a 128GB card arrives.
I also ordered a carrying case but unfortunately that won't arrive till March.

Trimming down the roms for my retro handheld and I thought I'd have a lot to trim for Genesis games, but strangely I'm compelled to keep way more than I thought. I'm pretty staunchly team SNES but some of these game titles make me want to hold onto em, even though I've never played them.

Spent the past few days thinking the new bios I flashed onto my retro handheld was stuck only using 2GB like the old one, but apparently not. So I can do a lot more than I thought with it until even more storage arrives.

i dont think one thing should replace discord, i think like three things at minimum should replace discord. it being an All-in-One app has ruined so many parts of online.
