While we're dunking on ModRetro for being made by drone manufacturers, now's a good reminder that Raspberry Pi also donated a bunch of their boards to cops so they could build drones. Be sure to boycott RasPi too if you're looking into emulation machines.

Y'all ever think about how in FFXI if you play a Bard you have to learn your songs individually from individual NPCs in separate towns effectively making you a wandering minstrel and holy shit that's some insanely good RPG design how did that get into an MMO

Good to know Windows 11 still has the bug where it can just disconnect all your USB devices at once if you dare to use sleep mode, forcing you to hard-reset because even unplugging & replugging doesn't work.

Random adhd side tangent. og xbox controller types.
Here is a list of default supported controller types. for things like the light gun or fishing rod they dont just emulate a controller with buttons, you can send special commands based on the controller type like the lightgun aim or the rod speed

By all accounts DisplayPorts are better than HDMI but whoever thought it was fine for them to just disconnect when you turn your monitor off needs to be hogtied & hung from the ceiling so QA people can beat on them like a pinata.

Vintage Story lets you use virtually all of its features in creative mode except you can't open your survival inventory and goddammit I know they wanna phase out the crafting grid but c'mon man
