I'm really surprised that I saw no one comparing Clair Obscur to the Mario RPG games... pretty much the same combat idea but cranked up to 11
It's kinda mindbending seeing so many people act like timed hits/defence being the invention of Clair Obscur, when it was THE cornerstone of the Mario RPG series starting back in 1996, and probably used in some earlier games too.

Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.
I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.
