Firing off a hot take ive been sitting on for years. I never have bought into the narrative that the company lost faith in hangman or stopped seeing him as a star or any of that. Besides at most a month or two after he immediately lost the title the first time he always has been involved in shit.

"Did AEW make a mistake?" type posts about the Full Gear main event are the reason I stopped watching wrestling for almost 20 years. I do not care about that business/insider stuff at all. It was a great show and has me excited to see what happens next, so no there was no mistake.

I have missed all wrestling discussion, but i went to look up the cage match ratings for aew full gear, and it was fun reading so many people vote the match worse than it was because they were crashing out about Hangman losing.
I love that people care so deeply that they are really feeling it.
