I often talk to folks who never call or write the people they voted for. Just because you helped vote someone into an office doesn't mean they represent you. It means you agreed with them enough to vote for them. But, they have no idea if they agree with you, unless you tell them what you think.

My thoughts today are with the security people and police officers who defended the Capitol on January 6 and have been treated with such distain since by the GOP. For them and the Democratic leadership who lived through such chaos and no doubt continue to carry the scars within. We will not forget.

The military is well aware of what an illegal order is. If they are not familiar with what defending America against enemies foreign and domestic means, they all need to be chaptered out. This is not about a convicted felon president anymore.

Since Chevy Chase's doc is trending, I'm reminded of the Late Night wars of 1993, when Fox renamed the old Earl Carroll Theatre in Hollywood the "Chevy Chase Theatre" for his TV show. It was canned after 6 weeks.
The theater then had a 20-year run as the Nickelodeon on Sunset.
