Then my granny is pissed because my cousin got a settlement from her husband’s death (he was riding his motorcycle with his girlfriend & was struck by a semi truck). She owes our granny money but she has not offered to pay her back or even asked her what she wanted for Christmas.

I know there’s a chance that I would have to tell my child that I made a selfish decision to have them knowing there was a chance they would have mental illnesses. That I was selfishly trying to give the world the best qualities of their mom & dad.

You know this is something I think about & why I go back & forth about having one.
I remember when my mom drunkenly told how apologetic she was for passing down mental illness to me. That was wild but i appreciate the sentiment 😭
