I got nothing. GOP don't care. Dems won't call it what it actually is. The civically engaged conservatives "didn't vote for this." The civically engaged liberals punch down instead of holding white voters accountable for their choices that led us here.

The people remain forlorn.

How I know Black people know white people better than we know ourselves:

Black people said we would set our privileges on fire rather than extend them to everyone.

Now we have evidence. In 2024, white folks voted away our privilege of not being shot by the government.

Equity woulda been easier.

This was right after the U.S. kidnapped the Venezuelan president. While working my kid out today, ICE killed another person in Minneapolis.
Here I am, at my son's track practice while the rippling consequences of white people's dependency on white supremacy play out on a global scale.

NFL coaching searches are largely unserious endeavors.
BREAKING: The Pittsburgh Steelers are working to hire Mike McCarthy to be their next head coach, a source tells The Athletic.

McCarthy, a Pittsburgh native, becomes the franchise’s fourth head coach since 1969.

Cory Booker thinks all they need is training and body cameras, though.

Schumer thinks "affordability" is the real midterm issue.

No one is fighting for the people except the people.

But Rep. Pappas (Dumbass- NH) is pushing to divert ICE funding to local law enforcement.
These aren't ICE or CBP agents making the arrests. They are collaborators from the Plymouth, Minnesota police department.

Over 100 priests arrested in Minneapolis for protesting ICE in Minnesota where today it's -21 degrees outside MSP Airport.

The clergy gathered in prayerful solidarity to demand airlines cease contracting deportation flights to DHS.

Dem leaders are scared of being called "anti law enforcement" for opposing this.
In October, ICE grabbed Maher Tarabishi.

He was a 24/7 caregiver for his disabled son Wael.

At the time of Maher’s detention, disability advocates warned that taking away Wael’s caregiver put his life at risk.

Wael died on Friday at age 30.

ICE caused his death.

They didn’t get to say goodbye.
Disabled son of ICE detainee dies after 30 days of hospitalization
It had been months since Wael Tarabishi seen his father. The family is calling on ICE to release Maher Tarabishi so he may attend his son's funeral.

It was “protect the children” until it came to immigrant children.

It was “protect the children” until it came to gun violence.

It was “protect the children” until it came to food assistance.

It was “protect the children” until it came to healthcare.

It was never about protecting children.

Cynically, DeLauro issued blistering statements against ICE, then negotiated the ICE funding deal, then personally voted against it, then celebrated with Republicans after passage. She's 82, represents Yale, and has a primary challenger.

Reposting but it totally has nothing to do with yesterday's House vote on ICE funding
The people are ALWAYS peaceful. The pigs, not so much.

There is a direct line from Dems overzealous support of LEOs to appear "tough on crime" and the shit DHS is pulling right now.
State and local law enforcement know the communities they serve. They’ve built the trust and know how to keep us safe.

As Minnesotans express their first amendment rights, I encourage you to remain peaceful and know that local law enforcement has one goal in mind: your safety.

When Maura Healey is asked about specific situations involving ICE, her answers are often much different than her fluffy, decontextualized rhetoric.

Here she is playing semantics to defend the Worcester Police Department after it helped ICE tear a family apart.
Just yesterday, Governor Healey was on the radio defending the #Worcester cops who assaulted a teen girl while ICE goons abducted her mother. #Massachusetts deserves better than this two-faced fraud.
