Wait! The public face of nationwide immigration enforcement, Gregory Bovino, said in a newly discovered email that his boss wasn’t the head of CBP. He reported to Corey Lewandowski instead.

He’s a political operative with zero law-enforcement background calling the shots on immigration enforcement.

Today's @joebwan.bsky.social @eidebailly.bsky.social has some distressing, but important, tax season news. The staff-short IRS is asking seasoned employees without any direct tax experience to perform entry-level tasks of answering phones and processing tax returns. 😬 Joe has tips to deal with this.

It’s hard to focus on one thing to be appalled about, but these stories out of Minnesota are awful. (And, of course, on the other hand, very encouraging.) I cannot believe you can wrongly grab somebody, transport them, and then leave them where YOU took them.
From FB regarding Pizza Luce in Minnesota.

I like it when I can do something to help people displaced by ICE and then after I do that thing I get to eat a pizza.

thanks for wasting 6 hours of my life Prime Video with The Night Manager S2. Waited 10 years for such a frustrating ending and a show with so many plot holes, especially in the finale. I'm gonna need to know the resolution of S3; that will determine if I'll watch any of it.

I'm calling bullshit on the media narrative that Trump is "pivoting" and "deescalating" on his ICE raids. The threshold is this: As long as the military occupations and the treatment of US cities as enemy territory continue, there's no pivot. ICE out. 1/
