Any elected Democrats (🤮) exploring the possibility of prosecuting ICE goons when/if rule of law is restored regarding violent white people?

thank god they didn’t waste it on healthcare, or food for children.

Both US political parties are ultimately loyal to the very rich, and only the very rich. This is the literal truth, it’s breaking society & poisoning the planet.

3rd party or don’t pretend — you are only digging us in deeper

Old persons’ media outlets embrace pro-Israel “information war” propagandists (literal) while firing anyone caught within 500 ft of an antiwar protest

Any under retirement age still think these orgs are a social good?

(I’m old. w little patience for vacuous, self-satisfied peers)

77-year-old Maine Gov. Janet Mills has apparently been coaxed into jumping into the Maine Senate race, challenging Graham Platner in a Democratic primary.

The 40-year-old Platner has become a favorite of progressives and Democrats wanting a more muscular response to Trump. He has raised millions.

“Abridging has always been in vogue—“

No, it hasn’t. And why’s The New Yorker putting out a press release for some dumb app?
newyorker.com
Abridging has always been in vogue. Now, apps like Blinkist take entire books and crunch them down to a series of what are called Blinks—which amount to around 2,000 words. “Is that what books are coming to, a handy social lubricant?” Anthony Lane asks.
Can You Read a Book in a Quarter of an Hour?
Phone apps now offer to boil down entire books into micro-synopses. What they leave out is revealing.

Petty to note, I guess, but liberals. Obviously. Former Biden boosters. They love to be seen as conciliatory, magnanimous.

Many are also pretty small c conservative and stupendously foolish. What little of MAGA destruction has registered is already being forgotten :)

Recommitting to this kind of faux credulous coverage after Trump unilaterally gutted public media is going to make long-run survival much harder. Who’s opening their wallet for this?

President Trump is bucking tradition and legal precedent in pushing to deploy the National Guard to Democratic-led cities like Portland, Oregon, and Chicago due to what he says is rampant crime and to support his crackdown on illegal immigration.

Ezra Klein is a class warrior. He and Charlie Kirk and every single centrist dipshit are all members of the same class.

It’s us, the masses, that exasperates him. But hey, he pities us. Is that a win?

Reich may be a Dem voter, but he is not in the party structure. Seems to have concern abt inequality & doesn’t shy away from criticizing dems
tdtoussaint.bsky.social
Maintaining gross inequality being one of the only areas (other than war) which Democrats & MAGA are united on

Democrats meeting in Uvalde this wknd to determine how best to ignore extrajudicial killings of Venezuelans.

Liberal use of athletic wear and salty language will continue. “I’m focused on AMERICANS!” under consideration as preferred evasion.

Oh shut up please. Your insight into human psychology is not as uh penetrating as you imagine.

And talking about Gaza & Dems giant, growing moral deficit is relevant & necessary

Awful & humbling to realize that for all my righteous bs, annoying Kathy Griffin & her ilk feels justifies a whole heap of antisocial behavior. Unimaginative liberals have somehow managed to be wrong about every single thing!!

Not voting for the next useless liar they cough up feels *gooood* tbh

We all know at least one asshole who didn’t vote for either presidential candidate. What do you think the real reason was for them? Not necessarily the reason they gave you, but the real reason.
