I'm proud of doing the work and building up a discipline of Writing. It's made, I think, for a better story, and I think it's made me a better writer.

But FUCK I'm proud of this damn thing. I'm proud that I took a chance on a rogue one-shot and let this world come to life. I'm proud of diving deep into character motivation and history and sexuality and unprocessed trauma and building the family you want.

There are parts of this that have been really hard. There were many moments when I thought of locking it all up because the story wasn't coming together or it wasn't getting the reaction I hoped for.
