Listen. ONE of the reasons I rock with Dolly (Capricorn Gang) is because she’s always proven to me that integrity may cause you pain, but it will never be the reason you suffer. Which is not to say that suffering won’t come, but it’ll never be because you abandoned yourself. That’ll keep you going.

It's easy to resign ourselves to the enshittification of these spaces that have always felt somewhat chaotic & intangible. But it used to be better. Alarmingly so. It's why I, for better or for worse, have hope for some kind of virtual renaissance. I dont know what that looks like. But I still hope.

I haven't even been doing this that long by career standards & the degradation of social media as a tool for connection & networking is appalling, esp. since 2020. Good things still come from it, but the once practical applications for community & career building are, by design, being stripped away

My career was made on social media. I met my partner, many friends & colleagues in these streets. At the risk of sounding melodramatic, it helped me change my life for the better & expanded my understanding of the world. Which is what makes the now rapid slide into unusable void all the more tragic
