To navigate this complexity, educators need institutional permission to:

1. Compromise
2. Diverge
3. Iterate

It’s about adaptive strategy, not finding a silver bullet. We must embrace the mess.

What makes it wicked? It resists definitive formulation, has no 'correct' answers (only better/worse), & every move has consequences. It’s a design challenge, not a bug fix. Think Rittel & Webber.

This is a Dylan William & John Hattie-level intervention in thinking about impact.

GenAI is reshaping higher ed assessment, but stop looking for a "solution." Findings show it’s a wicked problem—it can't be solved, only managed. 🤯 This fundamentally shifts how we approach policy & design.

This is an important reform and is sadly very criticized.
💧 A lot of people seem to be unhappy with the EU directive on tethered bottle caps. 🙁

We love it! 😃

It’s a simple fix for a serious problem.
#MarinePollution kills millions of animals every year, and 80% of marine pollution originates from the land.

I love Simon Sinek's ideas!
This is a very important issue for schools to tackle in the short term.

However, this aspect on the double edged sword that technological advances poses in general and AI in particular, is not exclusive to schools.
“AI is not invited into schools through a process of adoption, like buying a desktop computer or smartboard—it crashes the party and then starts rearranging the furniture. That means schools have to do something. Teachers feel this urgently.” #AI #AcademicSky #EduSky

Feeling kind of disheartened now that I realize that my fifth-grade daughter's teacher doesn't check her math book. So she's been counting and getting the wrong answers for at least weeks now.

We have to step up as parents now.
Beautiful!
Labels flatten learners.
Evidence reveals them.

Tiny shift: less labeling, more listening, noticing, and responding.

Homework should serve to reinforce and practice what has been taught in class.

That's a great way to make this even clearer today!

Too bad it's behind a paywall. Could you give me a TLDR?
Once the current wave of innovation subsides, other areas of technology will inevitably branch out. I don't see this as a sign of weakness.
Looks intriguing! What's the goal? 😊
That's a really imaginative way to communicate silently in the classroom. Great idea!
My main language and my native language is Swedish. When I bought the Pixel 10, I used it as I usually do. I follow news, social media, and take photos.

But when I switched to English, there's a whole world of built-in AI to help me write and work! 😍😲
For some reason, I struggle with following a series. I read almost every day, mainly audiobooks, but as soon as there's a sequel, I'm usually drawn to something else and forget about the first one.

Book Creator is awesome! ❤️
Too bad I have to create an account to sign up for the newsletter. Would've liked to just enter my e-mail.
