Look, if you discard partners when they express they felt insecure by a bahviour of yours and you discard them without giving them proper space to express, understand and address their emotion, that's not polyamory. That's neglect.

Discord's customer service system was compromised, including age verification data.

This is exactly one of the reasons why we don't want age verification by government ID to access online adult spaces.

What data was involved?

The data that may have been impacted was related to our customer service system. This may include:

Name, Discord username, email and other contact details if provided to Discord customer support
Limited billing information such as payment type, the last four digits of your credit card, and purchase history if associated with your account
IP addresses
Messages with our customer service agents
Limited corporate data (training materials, internal presentations)

The unauthorized party also gained access to a small number of government‑ID images (e.g., driver’s license, passport) from users who had appealed an age determination. If your ID may have been accessed, that will be specified in the email you receive.

Also, it makes me aware that I, or our new bond, is not a priority and taken for granted that I'll stick around and be fine.

If I ever had a new date in my constellation, I'd prioritise check ins and care for my partners (and communicate this to the date).

I am fully aware this is not how all people operate, and that is fine; yet when I run into people who handle this differently, I end up getting hurt (when all I want is the opportunity to bathe in compersion - just not at the expense of my own feelings and energy).
