Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

What is a policy citation? And how can you use them?

In our latest article, we unpack what counts as a policy citation, how to find them and why you should be tracking them (especially if you’re a researcher).

I remember learning that in the Historical Bibliography optional module that I took in my library degree. (I thought I should try to fill in some of the gaps in my knowledge that resulted from ‘only’ having a physics degree).

The first Dickens I ever read - in my 20s? when my usual fare was Iain Banks - was Great Expectations. Surprised how much I enjoyed it. Struggled with A Tale of Two Cities and Bleak House and didn’t read another as far as I recall!

I was there. It was HOT! On the last night a rumour went round the campsite that Cliff Richard had crashed his campervan on holiday in Portugal and had died!

The real 'two tier' divide in British politics is between the wife of a Conservative councillor calling for refugees to be burnt alive, being treated as a brave 'political prisoner', and the protestors calling for the end of mass starvation and genocide, being treated as domestic terrorists

Can’t believe The NWRA doesn’t get mentioned in that paper. It was _obviously_ precog for the Red Wall constituencies falling. “But it will turn out wrong”. youtu.be/mo5aOzojsqU?... #FallFriday

I guess they were ahead of their time. If they’d still been around for Britpop they could have ‘done a Pulp’. Paul Frederick is focussed on Jack Adaptor jackadaptor1.bandcamp.com these days rather than on the past, and it seems everyone else got ‘proper jobs’.
