I think it's a good policy when you make a drive-by PR to run your fork of that thing until your change gets merged+released. both for testing purposes and so you're not beholden to their code review/release process. if they reject it well... fuck everyone else but I got mine.

beeper is cool in theory but making it ergonomic to decrypt e2e app messages server side (much less punt them to an LLM API) is unacceptable
I really like this product direction from Beeper. While I'm pretty unlikely to want to give AI access to my messages, I appreciate the focus on integration and could see myself writing scripts using the REST API
