My daughter’s school bus was delayed this morning because armed ICE agents, some masked, were in the middle of 15th Ave in Cedar Riverside. So why wouldn’t ICE just get out of the way when the bus came? Perhaps they were busy harassing Somali-Americans, who are overwhelmingly citizens. But... (1/4)

Talked with Richfield Police Chief Jay Henthrone about this and he told me it was a miscommunication. ICE flagged down an RPD cop and told her they were being followed and that they would arrest the observer. The RPD cop then told that to the observer. He confirmed the 3 block rule is not a thing.
Ice agents drew weapons on an observer in Richfield today and threatened to arrest them for impeding. Richfield cops told them that if the observer followed them for more than three blocks, ICE could arrest them.
If you’re are tracking ICE in the Twin Cities. Be careful. DHS agents are agro dipshits and get super scared when they don’t understand why someone wouldn’t want them to abduct people.
