Oh totally. I’m sure the daily wire and Fox News and the White House Twitter account and right wing youtubers would all tell you if they were woke.

There were no progressive themes in mainstream media before 2014 and straight cis white men can’t be antifa if they don’t publicly show support for WOKE

Hold on to hope. Lies are easy to tell and easy to spread, but hard to keep alive. The Trump regime, like all fascist regimes, is so aggressive about controlling the narrative with propaganda and denial because they know reality will crush them if they slip up, and they will. It's already started.

My belief has always been that the way he lies so confidently is that reality is basically fluid for him as long as his only actual belief stays strong:

“I am a winner, and everyone else are losers”

I believe that is the only actual belief he holds. Anything else is a suggestion at best.

And just to really be clear; puritan culture is not the solution ever, I encourage you to engage with art that contains harmful elements, just dont engage uncritically and maybe listen when marginalized people are discussing its issues. Dont just do "thing bad or thing good", it can be both.

It's also frankly grossly negligent in this moment to pretend that "just let other people like things" is a good argument, I think letting people uncritically enjoy bigotry is part of how we got here. TBC you can enjoy stuff with harmful elements(everyone does) but you cant deny the bigoted elements
