Barde's Writing Commissions. I will write short fiction, poetry, major character death, problematic ships, violence, blood, gore, NSFW, smut, kink, and dubcon. I will write original fiction, or fanfiction for Genshin Impact, Danny Phantom, The Hobbit, the Lord of the Rings, and The Silmarillion.

Payment is 50% upfront, 50% upon completion. Your work will not be sent to you until full payment is received. All payment is via PayPal. Rates are 0$0.01 per word for poetry, $0.02 per word for SFW fiction, $0.03 per word for NSFW or gore.

Fiction Sample:

I remember being small, sitting on Mother’s knee while she told me, in hushed undertones, stories of the outside world. I never knew such a place could exist.

Mother was always tired. She always had this faraway look in her eyes. She was quiet when they argued, and quiet when he hit her. She was especially quiet when she taught me how to read, showing me how to fold the books with illustrations into the pages of thicker tomes.

We didn’t speak of the outside world anywhere the wind could hear us.

I could see how he treated her, and how she feared him. I could see how he would bruise her, and how she would let it happen. I knew it made me unhappy, but I never understood why. Not until the first time it happened to me. Once I learned what ‘pain’ and ‘fear’ were, I began to see them everywhere. Inside our home and beyond it —the world was filled with suffering, and at the heart of all of it: my father.

I won’t say I ever loved him before then, but I never hated him either. I never fully knew what those things were; emotion wasn’t part of my childhood curriculum.

Now I had learned what it meant when he hit her, and I could not tolerate it any longer.

Fiction SampleThe house is hollow, and I’m the thing rattling around inside it. This place is too big
for the people left behind, but too small for me. I can’t move without brushing against
memories.

My sister is still crying in her room. Every instinct I have screams to stay, to do
something, but what’s the point? I’ve already hurt her more than I ever did in life.
Mom and Dad were right—ghosts are no comfort.

I leave her there and drift into the kitchen. It’s empty, dark but for the faint green
glow from the stove clock. The hum of the refrigerator fills the space, steady and
indifferent, the sound of life continuing without me, underscored by the air
conditioner kicking on.

This house was a living thing once, but now it feels almost as dead as I am.

I know that it’s selfish to stay, but I don’t want to leave.

The hum of the refrigerator. The creak of brick and beam. Their mercurial grief
flooding the house with quicksilver.

I don’t want to leave.

we forgot to tell the birds not to sing
a moment of silence for the people dying in the streets
riots, police brutality, prison industrial complex
we forgot to tell the flowers to hold their peace

I hate AI, but I think we should think more critically about blanket-condemning anything that could be ai. Big genAI, which steals copyrighted works, poisons our collective knowledge, and consumes unconscionable amounts of energy is BAD. On-device ai that lets me search my photos for dogs is FINE.
