I had a best friend (RIP) who earned the nickname "Gay Hulk" because he once picked up a Neo-Nazi like one would a small rabid animal and casually threw him outside for the police to pick up.

George Washington pushed for smallpox inoculation in the Continental Army. Inoculation of the era was genuinely scary with multiple risks. Yet he ordered it. To refuse a simple shot is not patriotic and any "American" claiming they are patriotic by doing so is a dumbass across the board.

My son who is swiftly becoming a Pontiac Historian waited for me to come home and was awake when I read this. So of course he asked me to find a J2000 model to fill his collection and of course the perfect ones are practically rent...but an "okay" one was on ebay for MUCH less. -a Ford nerd

I can't believe by the end of the month I'll have the car that 10 year old me fell in love with.
And parents, unless your dreams only have 2 seats, don't "over-sacrifice." Involve your kids, let them see the work involved. Telling them to follow their dreams while not following yours is hollow.

CCTV footage appears to show DHS agents posing as people having car trouble in order to lure a target out of his house before arresting them. The target comes out and starts helping them before 3 vehicles surround the scene. The car "experiencing" trouble then drives off with them.

Half my shift showed up for mandatory overtime. That half is the hardest working and also always wants the corny gifts from management the rest of us knock. I ran out on break and got them candy. I am super proud of them.

I just saw somebody say they don't get oil changes because they drive an EV...folks...please please please check your maintenance schedules. Just because it's an EV doesn't mean it doesn't use gear oils of varying sorts.

An employee left early due to some personal stuff, but was back after a few hours. I talked to them. They then disappeared. I was the only one who saw or talked to them...so for the last half hour I started to question my sanity until I found them finishing up another section. 😅

I genuinely like her as a leader and a person. This isn’t forcing myself to vote for a DA who relied on prison labor and the war on drugs...

Police in Bloomington, MN just announced that one of the guys they arrested in an underage sex trafficking sting was a **background checker for ICE agents.**
He had a high security clearance in the Trump administration... and he was caught trying to abuse children. Sickening.

I've worked quite a few jobs where the bulk of the crew spoke Spanish. My Spanish is awful. Never once did I feel excluded...yeah in the kitchen we trash talked a lot, but we were friends and took care of one another. It breaks my heart seeing all the hate in the world against folks I respect.
