Proud of this little story. Cozy fantasy is a fun genre.

It's important to read widely, which is why I read deeply upsetting books in every genre.

Also made it to the Final Showdown foe #writingbattle and I'm so pleased. I have no delusions of going much further, but this was a needed little confidence boost.

My November reads! It was an excellent month for reading and my Kobo arrived yesterday (it was supposed to be for Christmas but I'm impatient) and I can't wait to read more on it.

Reading Another right now and really loving it. Trying to end the year with horror as my most read genre!

It is genuinely so upsetting thinking that I will never be able to read all the books I want to read.

I'd love to see this anthology climb the charts.
It's so well done.

I finished Wounds by Nathan Ballingrud last night and The Butcher's Table might be one of the best short works of fiction I've ever read. Thinking of that last line extra hard.

I love that I can't even remember what books I've preordered. I'm going to have so many fun surprises to myself.

North American Lake Monsters was an amazing collection of stories. Nathan Ballingrud has extreme talent.

I'm too old to keep up with all this social media so I'm just going to shout into this void:

Book lovers and writers, especially of the horror variety, I want to find you!
