The reason a trainer doesn’t “stay in their lane” is because that’s not a thing. There is a disproportionate amount of people of all ranks & roles in the animal care field broadly who don’t speak dog and more crucially, don’t LISTEN to dogs. Oversight, intervention, and education is imperative.
Consequently, instructive and preventative info is often disregarded, suppressed, and censored by parties who do not possess the qualifications, credentials, expertise, etc. to refute it. I have seen my posts in fb groups disappear and my messages in group chats deleted on more than one occasion.

My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.
