After replenishing, getting stuff done, and deciding on an activity for their little date, the three of them are about to head out when Rolim—practically vibrating with excitement—jumps up the stairs to their apartment. "I'm done, I'm done!" he announces happily, carrying a big cardboard box. He nearly trips over his own feet; none of that dancer's grace to be seen with him being so excited. "Oop!" "For the love of—be careful!" Astarion chuckles, steadying him as he stumbles into the kitchen where Darius and he have been waiting for Rolim to close up the shop. ~ Darius lowers the, honestly, fairly dainty mug with steaming coffee from his face, arching a brow high at the display of non-elegance from Rolim. "Is this the vibrating man we're taking out with us?" he laughs, seeing that Astarion has control of things. Of limbs. And of cardboard boxes. "What's finished, lover?" he asks, finally placing the cup down to the table. It gives a tiny 'tink'. "My part of the gift for you!" he happily exclaims, about to tumble over to Darius to put the box down right in front of him. Astarion saves the coffee mug from falling victim to the cardboard-box, a small chuckle escaping him. "So excited… Like a puppy about to go on a walk." Rolim ignores him, far too focused on Darius. "Open it! Open it!" he smiles brightly. "You can wear it to our date tonight!" ~ Darius gazes after the rescued mug, almost reaching for it, but then the box take presedence. "Alright, alright," he laughs, getting his hands on it. He doesn't open it right away though, letting the tension linger a little, seeing how the impatience raises within Rolim - while his own grin grows wider and wider. Only when Rolim draws breath to make a comment does he open it - with a big shit-eating grin on his big face. His face drops when he spots the content, the dark leather of the boots greeting him along with the scent of fresh leather. "Rolim," he whispers reverently, reaching in to touch them; the leather is impossibly soft, nestled on top of… something else. He throws a glance towards Astarion, seeing the confident smirk on his face. "Guys," he drawls, pulling the boots out one after the other. Then the coat they'd been resting on. "When you said you were making me something, I never expected this from you." Darius isn't stunned into silence often. He is now. "Thank you." ~ "It seemed like a gift you'd appreciate", Rolim smiles, though he's blushing too, still smiling so wide that his cheeks hurt. "I worked the leather I used for the boots thrice over to make it as soft as I could while also keeping it sturdy. They should serve you well for many years, but if something does end up tearing, I'll fix them in a heartbeat!" "The coat is according to the latest fashion", Astarion explains. "I tried to capture your style, though, and I hope I succeeded." "Such is easier with boots; there isn't much fashion to be done with those, though I did try to make them fit the coat as much as possible", Rolim continues. "Used the same type of leather-dye as Astarion used for the fabric so it all matches." ~ Darius hums, a warm smile slowly growing back onto his face, along with a light pink dusting across his cheeks. The teasing edge is gone now, replaced by warmth and gratitude. "They are soft, like lambs leather. But also feels thicker than lambs. Rolim, I knew this, but you are a master in your craft." Extracting the boots he gently puts them on the floor, between his feet, ready to be put on. Then he pulls out the coat. And pulls. And pulls. The more it unfolds, the longer it becomes, the red and blue fabric revealing itself.

For Halla, not especially in canon. She's a 'get up, run a brush through, done' kinda gal (like me lol). She will put it in a ponytail though if she's working the farm or doing something else where it might get in the way.

In her AU, she wears the side braids cos they're cool!

The laughter quietened down, and Halla leaned a bit across the table. Her smile became distinctly more playful as she slid her hand over to hold onto the tiefling’s. He was mildly distracted for a second at the way she presented her upper body, with her tunic bowing a little at the v-shaped neck, drawing his eyes towards her chest. Just as she intended, by that smile. “Well then if it is my fault, I’ll have to make it up to you, won’t I?” she purred, rubbing her fingertips over the back of his hand. Gilnor’s eyes flicked back up to hers and he smirked. “Yes. You will.” Their flirtation was interrupted by a barmaid drifting past to offer them refills, which Halla gladly took. Gilnor put his free hand over the top of his mug and shook his head, but as the young lady spied the couple’s joined ones, she tried to hide the sinking of her smile. She trundled off again, and Halla raised an eyebrow. “What? I have had my fill for tonight. A shame she seemed bothered by that.” He said. Halla tilted her head.

Gilnor lacks the personality to be a bard, even though he would be very skilled as one. So he'd probably be a vengeance paladin.
