To be fair, China isn’t doing anything the US hasn’t done to China.

As I noted the other day, tariffs, sanctions, and export controls were all first imposed by the US on China over the past decade.

The US wrongly believed that its hard power policy would convince others to fold immediately.

🔮 This effectively ended trading negotiations with China. They will handle it the same way they did last time and he will eventually back down after he has done much financial harm. Every time he does this we lose a little bit more to them.

You never know how an investment is going to work out. Buying a luxury 747 from Boeing turned out to be one of Qatar's best investments. It was a dog there for a little while and they were losing a lot of money but they held on and now look at them.

I knew he was going to do something. He was having a really bad day with all the court losses and the Frog and not winning a Nobel. He got so pissed he put a 100% tariff on China. He is predictably a toddler but you never know what he's going to do.

So now we're putting another 100% tariff on China on top of what they are already paying so I guess that amounts to about a $135% tariff one Chinese Goods.

About the same cartoon level tariff that crashed the stock market a while back.
