Huh: TikTok took down my 8-second video featuring this image of Debbie Brockman — the news producer just detained by Trump’s CBP agents — saying it violates the “joy of TikTok”

It’s OK, Donnie. Adolf never won a Nobel Prize either.

Peaceful assembly isn’t an insurrection.

Storming the Capitol to hang your own vice-president and end democracy is.

God this is so humiliating

Trump: "The person who actually got the Nobel Prize called today, called me, and said 'I'm accepting this in honor of you, because you really deserved it.' A really nice thing to do. I didn't say 'Then give it to me, though.'"

To be fair, China isn’t doing anything the US hasn’t done to China.

As I noted the other day, tariffs, sanctions, and export controls were all first imposed by the US on China over the past decade.

The US wrongly believed that its hard power policy would convince others to fold immediately.

China put Trump in a corner. Every way out hurts. www.barrons.com/articles/chi...
China's latest threat to clamp down on exports of rare earths appears to have blindsided President Donald Trump. The Chinese plan "came out of nowhere," Trump said Friday in a social media post.
"Nobody has ever seen anything like this."
Beijing's escalation of the trade fight has put the Trump administration on the backfoot at a moment of weakness. China's actions show that the U.S. is vulnerable to economic pressure, and China has forced the administration to choose between further escalation or a humiliating climbdown.

I knew Trump was corrupt AF, but I never in my wildest dreams thought there would ever be something named the Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani Air Base on American soil.

The new 100% tariff on China takes effect November 1st.

Also in November the Supreme Court will decide if any of these tariffs are legal.

If he's this bad at trade war, man I hope we don't get in a real war
theshitithink.bsky.social
The last time that he slapped a 100% tariff on China we lost our market for the year to sell our soybean exports to them. What will we lose this time?

I’m starting to think Trump might not know what the fuck he’s doing on all this trade war stuff.

🔮 This effectively ended trading negotiations with China. They will handle it the same way they did last time and he will eventually back down after he has done much financial harm. Every time he does this we lose a little bit more to them.

It's really shitty to drop such big economic news on a Friday evening, really shitty.

After hours trading is not going very well. I wonder what it will look like by Monday?

Breaking news: President Trump will impose a new 100 percent tariff on goods from China, escalating tensions after Chinese leader Xi Jinping issued new export restrictions that upended months of trade negotiations between the two countries.

You never know how an investment is going to work out. Buying a luxury 747 from Boeing turned out to be one of Qatar's best investments. It was a dog there for a little while and they were losing a lot of money but they held on and now look at them.

I knew he was going to do something. He was having a really bad day with all the court losses and the Frog and not winning a Nobel. He got so pissed he put a 100% tariff on China. He is predictably a toddler but you never know what he's going to do.

The President of the United States sold out America to Qatar cheaply, for the extremely low cost of ONE $400 million dollar jet and a $5 Billion golf resort, in exchange for it's very own military base in Idaho.

Congrats "America First" MAGA.
You got played.

AGAIN.

I wonder if the market will forget about this by Monday and be setting new highs?
theshitithink.bsky.social
So now we're putting another 100% tariff on China on top of what they are already paying so I guess that amounts to about a $135% tariff one Chinese Goods.

About the same cartoon level tariff that crashed the stock market a while back.

He's finally decided that the only way to get this subject off of Epstein is to crash the stock market again with another cartoon tariff. Those files must be really bad.

In under-the-radar news: a GOP-aligned former election official just bought Dominion Voting. He wants to mirror trump’s election directives. His other company, KnowInk, has been tied to multiple voting failures. Now he controls the machinery & our votes. That should scare everyone.
