The median age of all U.S. homebuyers is now 59 years old.

Just 15 years ago, it was 39 years old.

I don't know who still needs to hear this, but Jesus is not and would never be on team billionaire or oligarchy.

The money worshipping, cruelty to immigrants, restrictions of health care and food is all antithetical to the entire message.

Just love your neighbors! It's really simple! 🤍

Mark Wolf, a federal judge appointed by Reagan, is resigning after 40 years on the bench.

In an essay published by The Atlantic this week, he wrote, “The White House’s assault on the rule of law is so deeply disturbing to me that I feel compelled to speak out. Silence, for me, is now intolerable.”

The shutdown has ended and we might all end up with devastatingly expensive healthcare costs, but at least we... *checks notes* ...destroyed the hemp industry.

Under the Big Ugly Bill, Alphabet gets $17.9B in tax breaks. That could pay for SNAP benefits for 7.5 million Americans.

Amazon gets $15.7B. That could lower ACA premiums for 2.4 million people.

Microsoft gets $12.5B. That could cover Medicaid for 3.8 million children.

Important to understand the Epstein stuff and the fascism and the corruption are, in a lot of ways, really all the same story from different angles: powerful men who can and do abuse vulnerable people around them because they can, and because systems of elite accountability catastrophically failed

Have you noticed that app/phone/tech based society continuously shifts the burden of tasks onto the customers?

Insurance claim? Submit your own photo damage report.

Doctor visit? Complete your own check in evaluation.

Want groceries? Scan them out yourself, plebs.

It's stupid.

One CEO called the idea a “disgusting insult” and “economic genocide against the Gen Z generation.” 👀

The American people need protection from those who seek to exploit the workers for every last penny.

Some decry this view as "socialism."

I call it fair.

A 50 year mortgage would be just great for the banks. We'd all pay more for the same amount of house, and banks would reap the profits.

This is not the way to make buying a house affordable. Building more housing and paying a livable wage will benefit everyone except banks and their shareholders.

One of the unacknowledged advantages of this awful era is that it's revealing for all to see the putrid connections between great wealth and great power.

The intentions of the oligarchs are fully exposed and more blatant than ever.

But remember: We outnumber the oligarchs.

It's incredible that we let billionaires bloviate about their policy views without throwing tomatoes at them. We know what they want, they want policies that work for a few dozen people and immiserate the other 300 million. Not interested!

Have y'all noticed that the machine still has you fighting about which deficiencies to keep around?

Fighting for SNAP instead of real programs and living wages.

Fighting for insurance credits instead of universal health care.

Fighting for legal privileges instead of having actual human rights.
