Imagine if a group used even part of the energy they take up doing this to think about an actual solution to a real problem?
90% of conservative political analysis is just "this group I don't like does this thing I don't understand due to motivations I made up."

It's not quite the most pressing issue at the moment, but the American people absolutely have a right to know the names of the federal officials who shot and killed a man peacefully protesting, who was on his knees, prone in the street when they shot him in the back.

Which is not a knock! One of the things I genuinely love about this podcast is how it really picks apart things that hit most people on a purely emotional level

One of the funniest things I've listened to in some time. I am biased, as a football fan, but watching that sport is so fun, and "fun" appears maybe once in these 45 minutes. @newyorker.com
Why Football Matters
It remains far and away the most popular sport in the U.S., even in the face of growing concerns about players’ safety. What do we get from the spectacle?

On days when I feel sort of small, I watch Rick Sebak shows. He's a local legend, and for my money, a national treasure. Today I'll be viewing "It's the Neighborhoods."

STONER by John Williams is one of the best books I've read in a while. The ending is utterly fantastic, and actually i can't even think of what to say to do it justice.
