STONER by John Williams is one of the best books I've read in a while. The ending is utterly fantastic, and actually i can't even think of what to say to do it justice.

It's so stupid for me to get pissed about this, but I still remember the radical shift when Advil went over-the-counter, when I was a freshman in college— I was wrecked by cramps, non-functional, & suddenly, this cheap miracle fixed it all in 20 min

I was cooking dinner and listening to WQXR, @wnyc.org's classical station, and they played "Clair de Lune." It really knocked my socks off how beautiful that song is, and I couldn't be prouder to be a sustaining WNYC member.
