As I continue to work on the next episode of Parliamentary California. I only keep the Lt. Gov directly elected; but there elected by the people for a single 8 year term.
What made sad the day before Thanksgiving, is that I was working at my job (which is at a Grocery Store) and store director & a security guard kicked out 2 people just collecting petition signatures to get initiatives on the ballot for the next election.

which means that we 100% need to pivot to a parliamentary system where the House elects the President, and where a simple majority can remove the President (with the cost being that it triggers snap elections).

Legislative supremacy!

in a multi-party parliamentary system, if a single party gets a majority then they've earned mandate to govern

with where the US is at in the 21st century, i think it would be very rare for a single political party to win a majority of seats in a multi-party system

I wish YouTube could make the dislikes of the video visible again. I know it may be discouraging for content creators, but people shouldn't worry about views, likes, and dislikes. They should just make videos that will make them happy. The dislikes and likes show the popularity of your video.

If Republicans manage to get two republicans in the Top Two for the governor race in California because the Democratic candidates split the vote. I will likely choose Chad Bianco over Steve Hilton because he already has experience in government. But in the primary, I'm still voting for Porter.

Redrawing districts won’t save us. Proportional representation offers the best solution for an out-of-touch government.

Or, pass my new constitution to do that. And by the way... I've made some major new changes for America 🇺🇸. Including a new flag, and a new name. "The United Federal Republic of America".

I'm strongly against partisan gerrymandering. But Texas should be allowed to implement its new congressional map to counteract my home state of California. I am hoping Congress can get its act together to uncap the House.

But here’s the catch, primary elections in the USA are often low turnout which means the most ideological vote. This is why I support getting rid of primaries in general and just having one general election with representatives being elected from open party list proportional representation.
MTG being attacked by Trump and threatening a primary challenger against her is an example of what our political system has turned into. If a member of Congress dares to vote against their party they will be threatened with a primary challenger by their party in the next election.

Real talk: When was the last time your vote actually mattered in a California legislative race? Most districts are so safe that the primary decides everything.

#ProportionalRepresentation would make every vote count in every district. That's not radical—it's just fair.

The United States can also do what my home state of California, which allows the voters to collect petition signatures to trigger a recall election for either a statewide executive officer or a someone from the state legislature. I prefer the parliamentary system route imo.
I don't know how you can force President Trump to resign from office. His term ends on January 20, 2029. But if we were a parliamentary system, the House could end the head of government's term early by triggering a snap election through a vote of no confidence.

After all, the Senate is an 84%-White "house of lords" with a long ass 6-year term and EXTREME overrepresentation of small states. Many Senators are John Dutton types who think political power is their birthright.

The one thing I don't like about the California DMV is that they don't differentiate the application process of applying for a driver's learner's permit and applying for a driver's license. When you apply for a learner's permit, you automatically apply for a Class C driver's license.

Now I want Massie to run for reelection as an independent or as the nominee of a third party.
You can't lie the NYC mayoral election was competitive. Cuomo running as an independent did make the race competitive. Imagine, if the USA was a multi-party democracy where in all states they had their own party system that was separate from the national ones we could have competitive state election
